An Charraig

Tuesday, 18th August

We had a guest during the first week of August. Her name was Stephanka. She is from the Czech Republic. We met her at the training. She stayed with us for one week. We had a lot of fun together. Thank you Stephanka! We would like to see you again on Inis Mór.

Two weeks ago we finally found our rooster. He tried to escape again, but he couldn’t. Now he is at his home and he sings everyday just for chickens and us.

During the last few weeks we had a lot apples. Asia made more apple jelly for us. Thank you Asia! We like your apple jellies so much.

A new WOOFFer came to An Charraig in the second week of August. Her name was Julie. She is from France. She just left on the 17th. Thank you Julie, we hope to see you again.

Last week some things changed in our animals’ life. We got three new ducks. Now our old lonely duck has new friends and he is very happy about it. Our little cat Thunder had an accident. One of his legs was injured and he couldn’t walk for five days. Our poor cat, we like you so much and we hope you will be fine soon.

We had new guests on 15th of August. Alena and Laura are from Germany. They are staying with us until Thursday. They are not only guests, however. They are helping us a lot in the house. They like our apples so much that they everytime cook different things with apples. Thank you girls, we like you and your apples, too!!!

Viola finished her work in An Charraig and she left today. Our rooster wanted to go to Germany with her. He learned that Bremen was far away from Inis Mór, but not from Frankfurt. Viola didn’t help him to escape, though. She likes us and she knows we need our rooster here. Thank you Viola, we will miss you so much!!!

Our little cat Thunder can walk today! He can use all of his legs. Our sweety cat! We are very happy that you are fine now and we like you so much!!!

Wednesday,26th August

Our poor rooster tried to escape two times in the last week. Finally we decided to make a poster to find him. Now he is here but we thought this poster is very useful! If he will try to escape again, people -who will find him- can call us!!!

We said good bye to Alena and Laura on 20th of August. They were very industrious German girls. Thank you girls! We will miss you and surely our apples will miss you, too.

Asia finished her project and she left An Charraig on 24th of August. And Lancelot finished his work and he went to France, yesterday. Last Sunday, we had a very nice party for them. The house is very quiet today. Now is the time to ask our most populer question; “Isn’ t that sad?”. The answer is "yes". But we have a very nice sentence for life;
