Kiko and I had to attend our EVS-trainings in Dublin, so that Janina was alone with our new WWOOFer Walter. He is taking care of Kilmurvey and the potatoes in Strawberry fields. - Not only the ticks there are grateful for that : )

Sunday, 1st of June
We encountered the mist that creates myths. Within a few minutes a dense fog hid the nearby coastline completely from our view, then the next houses and even between An Charraig and Abhalon there were some shrouds of mist. It stayed more or less dense for the rest of the day, like a gaggle of clouds emigrating from the hills of Connemara to America by foot.

All June
We enjoy the company of our many guests. - Bodo's presence does me and my potato bed very good, Gloria and Gabrielle, both EVS volunteers, found there way to us after some kerfuffle ; ) and hopefully enjoyed the music at the pub and their walk, Alan and Noah discovered the island by bike and the similarities of pink toothbrushes : ) Karl eventually arrived and will hopefully enjoy his stay, especially as Deborah and her friend are popping by. - Thank you all for bringing some variety, wine, chocolate spread and doing the dishes!
