An Charraig coordinates an organic vegetable growing and marketing project on behalf of the island's community development co-operative Comharchumann Forbartha Árann. This project, called Bia Árann, involves a number of growers on the island, including An Charraig, in growing vegetables for a weekly box system, a Saturday market stall, and to supply seven local restaurants. Our wwoof volunteers will gain valuable experience in every area of this project.
