Mon,
5th May
Great party, sad reason: Anja, Cassandra and Kostas celebrated their
leaving. We had coffee and a lot of cake with the family and dinner at
the beach afterwards. Thanks to our musical guests and volunteers we
enjoyed a long evening of fiddle music, saxophone, singing, guitar
playing and mini-buzuki. Two people from the island even brought an
unstoppable country-playing enjoyable jukebox around.
The next two beautifully sunny mornings started quite early and woeful:
We had to wave and sing "bye bye baby" to our
dear friends. They left and left us tasty bread and chocolate cake, a
cat with yellow paws, "happy families", a sad An
Charraig-family and some pink socks.
Thanks to you for having made An Charraig to a fun and homelike place.
We wish you the best and more for whatever is
coming up next!

Wednesday,
14th May
After few quiet days with only the three of us left Kiko arrived right
in time to save us from having either cold
showers or sauna temperatures in the kitchen, because we had to light
the stove in order to get warm water. He helped
us a lot and we are happy to have him here. - Hope you will have an
enjoyable year in An Charraig!

End of May
The An Charraig family grew larger again. Rain, the skinny one-year-old
daughter of Storm, had grown larger and more
and more beautiful over the last week and now given birth to three
hilarious kittens: Thunder, a girl, and her brothers
Mist-Grappig and Hail. They are all healthy and Rain is the best
argument for teenage mums.
